There are so many reasons to like Sonia Kashuk'southward new 4-slice Precious Gems Lip, Liner & Nail Set, similar the toll (just $12.99), and Sonia's contemporary have on the mixed metal theme…
…but my summit reason, by far, is the liquid eye liner that comes with the set. It'south a metallic, rosy golden taupe with a mirror-similar polish that illuminates lash lines like Hollywood special effects.
Remember the gorgeous Chanel Rose Platine eyeliner from spring 2011? Well, this metal meistro is like a liquid liner version of that.
I nearly tin can't believe the gear up is merely $13, because information technology kinda looks like something Coco would exercise (and sell for considerably more!).
To accept a pair of smokey eyes for a metal walk on the wild side, just do your regular smokey centre wait first (here I'm wearing MAC Patina Eyeshadow on summit of a base of MAC Feline Heart Kohl). Then, line your upper lash lines with the liquid liner from the gear up.
The stuff is packed with metallic pigment, and so one or 2 layers should do the trick.
And because I'm non washed gushing about this liner yet (because I similar it that much!), it's also thicker than most liquid liners I've used, almost similar a cream, and consequently very easy to control. No dripping or dribbling all over the place.
And in one case information technology sets, it doesn't roam. Non fifty-fifty if it gets wet. They might as well accept called it waterproof (fifty-fifty though I don't think they do).
As for the other pieces in the set up, which is a limited edition holiday release, I think they're as well pretty absurd.
Along with the liner, you get two shimmery mini blast polishes — one, a silvery taupe, and the other, a rosy gold taupe — and a sheer, non-sticky gilt gloss with a moisturizing formula (unscented and unflavored).
You should be able to get abroad with a single coat with either of the polishes, but don't forget your base and top coats, every bit Sonia's polishes tend to scrap rather quickly when I forget to apply them.
If you lot've ever chanted, "Smokey middle till I die!!" don't miss this budget-friendly kit.
